Password Generator
Create strong, unpredictable passwords in one click — fully private and free forever.
Weak passwords are the number one cause of hacked accounts, yet inventing a strong password for every login is exhausting. This free password generator builds truly random passwords using your browser's cryptographic random engine, so every result is unpredictable. Pick a length of 8 to 64 characters, mix character types, and copy your password straight into your account.
Tip: use at least 14 characters with all four character types for important accounts.
How to use the Password Generator

Password Generator — FAQs
Is this password generator free and safe to use?
Yes, it is completely free with no signup or limits. It is also safe because passwords are generated inside your browser using the built-in cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues). Nothing is sent to any server, stored, or logged, so the passwords you create are seen only by you.
What makes a strong password?
A strong password is long and unpredictable: at least 14 characters mixing uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols gives over 90 bits of entropy, which is impractical to brute-force. Avoid dictionary words, names, birthdays and reusing the same password across sites, and store each unique password in a reputable password manager.
How is the strength rating calculated?
The tool measures entropy — length multiplied by the base-2 logarithm of the character pool size. Under 40 bits is Weak, 40–60 is Fair, 60–80 is Strong, and above 80 is Very strong. Longer passwords with all four character types score highest, so the tool recommends 16 characters or more for sensitive accounts.
Can anyone else see the passwords I generate?
No. All generation happens locally on your device; there is no account, no history kept, and no network request. However, remember that copying a password to a shared or public computer can expose it, so only generate passwords on a device you trust and keep them saved securely in your own password manager.
